Yeah, I think I may have seen my last butterfly of the year today. I am ready for the cooler breezes and no mosquitoes.
he's cute though! I remember those days from Montana; I'll send you some 100 degree heat; look for it in the mail :)

betty ~ I will take the 100 degrees! We haven't closed the pool yet.
I'm not ready for fall yet! Our summer heat usually lasts through October. Last night we had a nice cool breeze when we walked the dog. I think it's getting down in the 70's at night now. I'll take high 80's in the day. We never get 100° here.

i have a thing for these guys too...saw one of the last ones in my garden last week (he looked like this too...brown)...theyll be back...in the springtime there will be lots of little bright green babies everywhere! (and i cant help but comment on nearly all your posts...love them all!)
